What kinds of images are supported?

We support all popular image formats, including JPG, PNG, WebP — as long as each image is under 16MB and at least 50×50 pixels in size.

How do credits and pricing plans work?

Our pricing is simple and flexible. You can choose from monthly/yearly plans or purchase one-time credit packs.

  • Standard images (JPG, PNG, WebP) consume 1 credit per image.
  • New users receive 25 free credits.
  • Unused credits roll over to the next billing cycle.
  • You can cancel your plan at any time.

 

Can I use AutoAlt.ai on multiple websites?

Yes! You can connect multiple websites using a single account.

Simply add each domain and use your API Key. As long as you have credits, you can generate alt text across all linked websites.

Do you support languages other than English?

Yes. AutoAlt.ai supports 120+ languages. Just select your preferred language from the plugin or website settings.

Do you store the images I upload?

No. We never store your actual images. We only process the image and return the generated alt text, title, and associated metadata. Your data privacy is our priority.

Can I include or exclude specific keywords in the generated alt text?

Yes. You can define custom keywords to include/exclude during generation. This allows better SEO control and brand alignment.

Can I view or edit alt text history?

Yes. AutoAlt.ai maintains an edit history of your processed images. You can review, update, or regenerate alt text anytime.

Is bulk image processing supported?

Yes. You can process hundreds or thousands of images in one go using our bulk update feature. It’s ideal for large media libraries and product catalogs.

What kinds of images are supported?

We can generate alt text for all popular image formats. We support JPG, PNG, GIF, WEBP, and BMP images, as long as they are less than 16MB in size and at least 50×50 pixels.

Will I lose my alt text if I uninstall the plugin?

No. Any alt text or image titles generated will remain embedded in your images, even after uninstalling the plugin or app.

Does it work with multiple store languages?

Yes, Alt text is automatically generated in all configured store languages simultaneously.

Can I generate Alt text for multiple images at once?

Absolutely. You can select multiple images and generate Alt text for all of them with a single click.

 

Is the API Key secure?

Yes, your API key is 100% secure. It is domain-specific and works only with your registered domain.

Can I update the Alt text for a single image?

Yes, you can. Simply open the image in your Shopware media library and click the Generate Alt Text button.
Please note: This will overwrite any existing alt text currently set for that image.

Can I update both Alt Text and Image Title together?

Yes, you can. Just enable the option in the extension configuration settings.

Check the box labeled “Use alternative text as image title” to apply the same text to both fields automatically.
