Note: This option is disabled by default. To activate this feature, please check the checkbox and save your settings.

Filter by Image Extension

The “Filter by Image Extension” feature helps you manage credits efficiently. For example, if you upload images in JPG or PNG format, but your website automatically converts them to WebP for performance optimization, it’s recommended to filter and select only the WebP format during processing. This ensures that credits are used only for the final images actually displayed on your site.

Note: By default, the “Access Image URL” option is enabled, assuming the site is accessible over the public internet.

Alt Text Languages – Active Sales Channel Only

This setting ensures that alt texts are generated only for languages assigned to active sales channels.

When enabled, AutoAlt.ai will skip system or inactive languages and generate alt text exclusively for languages that are actively used in your storefront.

Why use this setting?

  • Prevents unnecessary alt text generation for unused languages
  • Avoids generating content for default Shopware system languages
  • Saves API credits
  • Keeps your media data clean and relevant
